Bloom Women

Women's Health Assessment

Imagine having the energy to keep up with the people you love.

A lot of women come in wanting to talk about one thing.

Maybe it's weight changes, or fatigue, or irregular periods.

But there are usually five other things running underneath.

Sleep.

Mood.

Stress.

Hormones.

What's happening with your metabolism.

The reason these conversations matter is that the body does not work in isolated compartments.

One problem is usually connected to three others.

Talking through all five properly takes time.

This assessment is built to give you that time.

In short

A consultation with a female GP, designed to review the five things women rarely get time to talk about in one sitting. Every assessment starts with a real conversation: what's changed, when it started, and what you've already tried.

“Your body is changing. Let's understand what it's trying to tell you.”

Care through every decade

Women's health needs evolve over time, so rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, your preventive care is shaped around your age, medical history, family history and your own goals.

  • Cervical screening (Pap smear)
  • Menstrual health
  • Contraception counselling
  • Fertility planning and preconception advice (where appropriate)
  • Lifestyle and cardiometabolic health

Every woman is different. The right screening depends on your age, symptoms, medical history, family history and previous test results. Our goal is not to do more tests. It is to recommend the right tests at the right time.

01

Motherhood changes you. Let's help you find your footing again.

May include

  • Recovery after vaginal birth or Caesarean section
  • Scar and wound healing

02

Contraception

You can come to us for:

  • Oral contraceptive pills
  • Emergency contraception
  • Contraception counselling

For women who may benefit from long-acting reversible contraception, we'll be happy to discuss your options and refer you to an appropriate specialist.

03

Perimenopause and menopause

Broken sleep, cycles that stop following their own rules, heat you cannot quite explain even in Singapore weather. If you've been quietly asking 'is this normal?', this is where that question gets proper time.

Assessment and support for women experiencing symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.

Consultations may include

  • Symptom assessment
  • Lifestyle optimisation
  • Appropriate investigations
  • Non-hormonal management where appropriate
  • Referral for specialist care or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) when indicated

Heavy menstrual bleeding

Bleeding that floods, soaks through, or rules your calendar is not something you just have to live with.

Assessment and personalised management of heavy menstrual bleeding, including appropriate investigations, medical treatment and referral when specialist care is required.

The right tests at the right time.

Screening tests are tailored to your age and risk profile.

Where appropriate, this may include cholesterol and diabetes screening, thyroid function, cervical screening, vitamin D, a mammogram referral or a bone density scan referral. The goal is not to do more tests. It is to do the right tests at the right time.

Priced like a conversation, not a package.

Standard consultation rates apply, and any investigations will be discussed after doctor assessment, then priced with you before anything is done. Nothing is added quietly.

Results explained in plain language.

When your results come back, we sit down and go through everything in plain language, with no jargon and no overwhelm. The goal is to help you understand what's actually happening in your body, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
