Metabolic health
Metabolic syndromeis several numbers that are really one conversation.
Blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, waistline. Each one usually gets its own appointment and its own advice, when what they mostly need is to be looked at together, by someone with time.

Because sometimes, the most reassuring words we can hear are, “I've felt that too.”
Dr Kavina
Perhaps you've been told a few of your numbers are borderline, and left to work out what that means.
- 01Perhaps each one has been mentioned separately and never joined up
- 02Maybe you've been told to lose weight without much said about how
- 03Perhaps it runs in your family and you'd rather not follow the same path
- 04Or maybe you're doing several things already and can't tell whether any of it is working
We honour where you are
Everyone arrives at this differently.
Some come with one borderline result and a lot of questions.
Some have been managing three conditions for years and are tired of it.
Some have a family history that worries them more than their own numbers do.
Some have tried and stopped, more than once.
There is no “right” starting point.
There is no expectation that you should have got on top of this already.
Our role isn't to add another instruction to the pile.
It's to look at the whole picture, work out which changes would actually move your risk, and build something with you that you can keep doing.
Understanding brings confidence
We believe that meaningful healthcare begins with education. During your consultation, we'll take the time to understand your numbers, your history and your personal goals. Together, we'll explore:
What each of your results means, and how they influence one another
What your overall cardiovascular risk actually looks like
Which of the components is doing the most damage in your particular case
What investigations are worth doing, and how often to repeat them
Which changes have the biggest effect for the effort involved
When medication is worth considering, and when it isn't yet
Your goals matter
Not everyone wants the same thing from this.
Weight is only one part of the picture.
Healthcare should be personalised, not prescribed.
At BloomHealth, we don't believe success looks the same for everyone.
For one person, it might be coming off a medication eventually.
For another, it may be avoiding the diabetes their parents developed.
For someone else, it may simply be having one doctor who holds the whole picture.
Whatever your goals may be, we'll work with you to create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable and aligned with your life.
Every small step matters.

You were never meant to navigate this alone
Health is deeply personal.
But it should never feel lonely.
As BloomHealth grows, our Bloom Circles will create opportunities for people walking similar journeys to learn together, support one another and realise they are not alone.
How BloomHealth can support you
Your consultation may include:
A comprehensive review of your blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and weight together
Assessment of your overall cardiovascular risk rather than one number at a time
Review of your medical history, family history and current medications
Recommendations for appropriate blood tests and monitoring intervals
A practical, evidence-based plan covering nutrition, activity and sleep
Discussion of medication where it's warranted, in plain language
Ongoing follow-up so progress is measured rather than assumed
Where our care ends, said plainly
Dr Kavina is a female GP, not a cardiologist or an endocrinologist.
Most of metabolic health is general practice work, and that's exactly what it should be: one person seeing the whole picture over time.
Where you need specialist cardiology, endocrinology or advanced imaging, we'll explain why and refer you.
Our hope is that you'll leave understanding your own risk, rather than carrying four separate pieces of advice that were never joined up.
Consultation fees
| Initial Consultation | S$90 |
|---|---|
| Planned Follow-up Review | S$75 |
Laboratory tests and any further investigations are billed separately where they are needed. A planned follow-up review applies to a scheduled review of the same condition. If a new or unrelated concern comes up, or a fuller reassessment is needed, that visit is booked as a new initial consultation.
Our philosophy
At BloomHealth, we believe the best kind of healthcare empowers people to become better versions of themselves.
By honouring where you are today, helping you understand your health and supporting you with evidence-based care, our hope is that you'll leave every consultation feeling more informed, more confident and more empowered to make decisions that are right for you.
Because healthcare isn't just about treating symptoms.
It's about helping people navigate life's transitions with clarity, confidence and compassion.
