Perimenopause

Perimenopauseis a natural transition.

A new season of life deserves a different kind of healthcare. For some women, it passes with only subtle changes. For others, it can feel like you're living in a body you no longer recognise.

Because sometimes, the most reassuring words we can hear are, “I've felt that too.”

Dr Kavina

Perhaps something has shifted and you haven't yet put words to it.

  • 01Perhaps you're sleeping differently
  • 02Your energy isn't what it used to be
  • 03Your mood feels unpredictable
  • 04Or maybe you're simply wondering, “Is what I'm experiencing normal?”
“The body doesn't usually work in isolated compartments. Sleep affects stress, stress affects hormones, and hormones affect mood, energy and your cycle.”

Dr Kavina

We honour where you are

Every woman's journey through perimenopause is different.

Some women want answers.

Some want reassurance.

Some are looking for ways to improve their sleep, energy or quality of life.

Others simply want to understand what's happening to their bodies.

There is no “right” way to experience perimenopause.

There is no expectation that you should already know what to do.

Our role isn't to tell you how you should feel.

It's to understand your starting point, listen to what matters most to you and help you navigate the next steps together.

Understanding brings confidence

We believe that meaningful healthcare begins with education. During your consultation, we'll take the time to understand your symptoms, your medical history and your personal goals. Together, we'll explore:

01

What changes may be happening in your body

02

How these changes may affect your health and wellbeing

03

What investigations, if any, may be appropriate

04

The lifestyle, medical and supportive options available

05

Which approach best aligns with your goals and preferences

Your goals matter

Not every woman needs the same plan.

Healthcare should be personalised, not prescribed.

At BloomHealth, we don't believe success looks the same for everyone.

For one woman, it might be sleeping through the night again.

For another, it may be feeling more energetic.

For someone else, it may simply be understanding what's happening and feeling reassured.

Whatever your goals may be, we'll work with you to create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable and aligned with your life.

You were never meant to navigate this alone

Health is deeply personal.

But it should never feel lonely.

As BloomHealth grows, our Bloom Circles will create opportunities for women walking similar journeys to learn together, support one another and realise they are not alone.

How BloomHealth can support you

Your consultation may include:

01

A comprehensive discussion about your symptoms and concerns

02

Review of your menstrual and medical history

03

Assessment of lifestyle factors that may be influencing your wellbeing

04

Recommendations for appropriate investigations where indicated

05

Evidence-based discussion of available treatment options

06

Lifestyle guidance tailored to your individual goals

07

Ongoing follow-up and support as your needs change over time

Where our care ends, said plainly

Dr Kavina is a female GP, not a hormone specialist, and she doesn't prescribe hormone replacement therapy.

If your assessment suggests it may be an option, we'll explain that clearly and refer you to a specialist who can discuss it with you.

Either way, our hope is that you'll leave knowing which of the two you're looking at, and why.

Consultation fees

Initial ConsultationS$120
Planned Follow-up ReviewS$90

Laboratory tests and any further investigations are billed separately where they are needed. A planned follow-up review applies to a scheduled review of the same concern. If a new or unrelated concern comes up, or a fuller reassessment is needed, that visit is booked as a new initial consultation.

Our philosophy

At BloomHealth, we believe the best kind of healthcare empowers people to become better versions of themselves.

By honouring where you are today, helping you understand your health and supporting you with evidence-based care, our hope is that you'll leave every consultation feeling more informed, more confident and more empowered to make decisions that are right for you.

Because healthcare isn't just about treating symptoms.

It's about helping people navigate life's transitions with clarity, confidence and compassion.
